Java programming, Browser compatibility, Flash programming, Web 2.0 and technical knowledge as such offers only a platform for creative solutions. However, to communicate a creative solution, we need a strong idea.
From my experience, I believe that we must be aware of technology, for the best of ideas, not backed by technical knowledge which often fails.
So get your basics right and be open to exploring new technologies, that will help your ideas to grow.
Flash is God, but we all should explore a lot of techniques, Flash extensions like paper vision 3d & Box 2D in our creatives to reach the outskirt of limits which flash gives us.
I am still exploring the grounds with target set for myself and hope to crack somethings exciting soon.. till then signing off for now..

there are many more 3D engines out there...Papervision right now looks strong but there alwas a critique how long would it survive..
Very True! but as of development i still give me 5 cent to Papervision coz of it user base...
